As a year-round team member, you’ll play an active role in planning and delivering Pride, from early-stage ideas right through to event day and beyond. This could include helping to organise pride in the community events, supporting outreach in the community, contributing to social media and communications, assisting with fundraising, and working collaboratively with the wider team to bring our vision to life. We’re looking for people who are passionate, reliable, and open to fresh ideas. As part of Barnsley Pride in the Community — it’s about building a strong, connected community all year round. We’re looking for passionate and supportive individuals to lead and grow our social groups. As a Social Group Leader, you’ll help create safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect, share experiences, and feel a sense of belonging. This could involve organising regular meet-ups, planning inclusive activities, and supporting group members while working alongside the wider Barnsley Pride team. We’re looking for people who are friendly, organised, and committed to inclusion. You don’t need formal experience — just empathy, reliability, and a genuine desire to bring people together.
