Help and support over Christmas
Published: Thursday 11th December 2025

No one should ever feel like they have no one to turn to at Christmas. While the season is often portrayed as joyful and full of connection, it can also amplify feelings of loneliness, stress, and emotional strain—especially for those facing hardship or isolation.
Christmas should be a time of warmth, compassion, and community, where everyone knows support is within reach. Whether through friends, family, neighbours, or the many charities and organisations offering help, no one deserves to struggle alone. Reaching out for support is a strength, and there are always people and services ready to listen, care, and stand beside anyone who needs them.
