Barnsley Pride doesn’t happen by magic — it happens because brilliant people like you give up their time to make it happen!

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our On-the-Day Volunteer Team for Barnsley Pride 2027.

​

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or this is your first time, there’s a place for you. From welcoming visitors and helping with information, to supporting our event team and making sure everyone has a safe, enjoyable and memorable day, our volunteers are at the heart of Pride.

​

You don’t need to be an expert, and you definitely don’t need to know everything. We’ll provide the information and support you need — all we ask is that you bring your enthusiasm, teamwork and Pride spirit!

It’s a great way to meet new people, get involved in your community and experience Barnsley Pride from behind the scenes.
